Top Indian Batting Line Crashed on Just 78 in the Opening Day of the 3rd Test

Top Indian side which includes real big names of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, and the rest, all flop badly on the opening day of the all-important 3rd Test match of the five-match series.

After winning the toss, the Indian skipper who was overconfident on the 2nd Test win at Lords last week, choose to bat first.

But this stunt goes wrong when all the big guns winded up by the English pacers one by one. For only 78 runs on the scoreboard, India was all out in just 40.5 overs of the first innings. Not at all a good day for Indian cricket and Indian fans around the globe. This is India’s 8th lowest innings total in Tests, 3rd lowest in the first innings of a Test.

English pace battery in charge James Anderson once again took the all-important wickets of Kohli, Pujara, and Rahul.

In reply, England started their first inning with a lot of confidence. England openers Rory Joseph Burns and Haseeb Hameed stand firm against the Indian pacers. At the end of the opening day England scored 120 runs without losing any wicket.
