Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf has responded to the notices issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) a few days ago, which resulted in his removal from Test cricket. The PCB had issued show-cause notices to Haris Rauf after relieving him of his duties in Test cricket, stating that according to the central contract, players would be available unconditionally for the national team.
In the notices, it was mentioned that Haris Rauf had expressed unavailability for the Test series against Australia. According to sources, Haris Rauf has now responded to the PCB’s notices, citing the reason for his non-availability as the lack of red-ball cricket practice.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board has granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Haris Rauf for the Australian Big Bash League (BBL). Haris Rauf has been given permission to participate in the BBL from December 7 to December 28, where he is set to play in five matches.
