Romelu Lukaku directed his support to Christian Eriksen after attaining 3-0 victory over Russia in their Euro 2020 start on Saturday.
Lukaku’s Inter teammate, Eriksen, is awake in hospital and undergoing tests after collapsing earlier on the agonizing second day of the tournament in Denmark Finland fixture in Copenhagen.
Lukaku scored the Red Devils’ top scorer and said “Chris, I love you” to a television camera after his first goal in the Group B match at Stadium of Saint Petersburg.
Thomas Meunier scored Belgium’s second goal in the first half, and a brilliant Lukaku added a late third place as the world’s top position drew with Finland, a 1-0 win over Denmark in a match resumed after encouraging news about Eriksen.
