Chelsea Wins the Champions League 2020-21

On a night of clash between two major rivals in English Premier League, Manchester City, and Chelsea in the final at PORTO, Portugal, Chelsea won the title with only 39% possession. Guardiola’s City doesn’t have an answer or potential for taking care of the counterattacks lead by Werner, Kai Havertz, and Mount.

Kai Havertz scores the only goal of the match. It’s a brilliant move by the Mason Mount to the German International. Who skipped through the City’s defense and scores an outstanding goal in the 42nd minute of the game.

Major player and the skipper of Guardiola’s city Kevin De Bruyne injured badly in the 60th minute. Belgium International hurt himself while making a run for attack and collapsed with Chelsea’s defender Antonio Rudiger. After the incident, De Bruyne unable to made his feet and subbed by the manager with Gabriel Jesus. After the incident, the one-goal-down team lost his footings towards the match and end up with 0-1 on the final whistle of the game.

This is the first time in the history of Manchester City F.C. to made it up to the final of the Champions League. But unfortunately, they are unable to cross the line one last time.
